L.A. Care’s General Counsel to Moderate an L.A. Chamber Discussion on COVID-19 Restrictions Lifting

Augie Haydel, the General Counsel for L.A. Care Health Plan, the largest publicly operated plan in the country, will moderate the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Pancakes and Politics speaker series tomorrow. Once a month, the Chamber holds a breakfast session, which features elected and business leaders who are influencing policy issues that impact the Los Angeles region.

The June panel discussion will include Muntu Davis, MD, MPH, the Los Angeles County Health Officer, Maria S. Salinas, the Chamber President and CEO, and Eyal Darmon, the Managing Director of Strategy and Consulting at Accenture, a business consulting firm. The discussion will focus on a number of areas related to COVID-19: They include:

  • Vaccine distribution
  • The impact lifting restrictions will have on businesses
  • Lessons learned during the pandemic
  • Future surge projections
  • Mitigation strategies

The panel will also allow for discussion on opportunities for collaboration with the business community.
