California Technical Assistance Program (CTAP) - Continuing Improvements in Care
Building on momentum of HITEC-LA's pioneering efforts, L.A. Care continues to provide EHR technical assistance to 2,165 L.A. County medical providers through the California Technical Assistance Program (CTAP). This support comes as a result of a $10.8 million, three-year contract on behalf of the California Department of Health Care Services awarded in 2015 to support local safety net providers' EHR adaption. Under the program, HITEC-LA helps L.A. County's Medi-Cal providers reach meaningful use on EHRs and expand capabilities, allowing them to enhance patient experience, lower costs, and improve clinical outcomes throughout the county.
