The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LAC DPH) issued a health advisory on July 13, 2020. Adequate and widespread availability of diagnostic testing for SARS-CoV-2 is essential to slowing the spread of COVID-19.
By order of the County Health Officer, all healthcare facilities in Los Angeles County must have an established laboratory relationship for the provision of diagnostic (PCR) testing for SARS-CoV-2 effective July 31, 2020.
