With Open Enrollment season over, agents need to check to make sure all their clients have made their required payments.
The CalHEERS (California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment, and Retention System) online platform enables agents to see if their recently enrolled clients have made their (initial) binder payment. All other payments are made separately through the individual health plans payment systems.
"Please check the CalHEERS dashboard to make sure your clients are up to date," said Ted Holloway. "Many newly insured individuals may not be familiar with how insurance premiums work," he added.
