What is Enhanced Care Management (ECM)?

Enhanced Care Management (ECM) offers extra services at no extra cost to select Medi-Cal members with complex needs. It coordinates the care you need. ECM makes it easier for members to get the right care at the right time in the right setting, and receive comprehensive care that goes beyond the doctor’s office or hospital.

What does ECM provide and how might it help me?

If you qualify for ECM, you will have a Lead Care Manager who will serve as your main point of contact. Lead Care Manager can meet you where you are—on the street, in a shelter, in your doctor’s office, or at home—to meet your needs. Your Lead Care Manager will work with you and your doctors, and others to get you the care you need to keep you healthy.
