The Training, Learning, and Development Community, a community of professionals who work to improve job performance within an organization through various educational activities, is hosting a two-day virtual conference titled Crafting Success: Talent Development. We are pleased to announce that Deborah Decker, a Director within the L.A. Care Human Resources Department, is giving a presentation titled Designing a Talent Development Strategy to Support Organizational Goals.
Decker, the L.A. Care Director of Learning Experience, says organizations that have a formal talent development strategy have a great advantage over those that don’t. They have increased employee retention, engagement and productivity. Decker’s presentation will cover how to design a talent development strategy that drives organizational results through skills development, career development, and leadership development.
Decker leads a team at L.A. Care that provides all the learning and development activities for the health plan’s employees, temporary staff, and contingent workers. This includes New Employee Orientation, New Manager Orientation, Leadership Development, the Management Certificate Program, career development and general human resources training.
The virtual conference, which promises to be a transformative experience for professionals who are passionate about crafting impactful learning experiences and staying ahead in their careers, is December 7 and 8. You can register here.
