L.A. Care Wins Best Multicultural Ad Campaign

Judges call the campaign "uplifting"

LOS ANGELES — L.A. Care Health Plan, the largest publicly-operated health plan in the country, is proud to announce that its 2018 Elevating Healthcare brand campaign won the Best Multicultural Campaign award from MM&M, previously known as Medical Marketing & Media.

The judges for MM&M called the campaign "uplifting," saying "creative use of angel wings helped position the brand as a guardian of health during a time of uncertainty about the Affordable Care Act and subsidy funding."

Walter Thompson for the top award given in this category this year. The team went beyond language translation to ensure the campaign brought to life the meaning, spirit, and essence of L.A. Care which prioritizes quality health care, access and inclusion — elevating health care "For All of L.A."
