L.A. Care Health Plan, the largest publicly operated health plan in the country, and the only public plan on the Covered California exchange, is proud to announce its top-performing brokers for the 2021 open enrollment and special enrollment periods. The brokers will be recognized today during a virtual Agent Appreciation Event.
COVID-19 made access to quality health care more important than ever. The extended enrollment period presented brokers with the opportunity to enroll more people, giving them access to high quality care at an affordable rate. But, they also faced serious challenges since in-person outreach was not always possible. Despite that, L.A. Care has added 52,131 members to its L.A. Care Covered ™ product for 2021, bringing the total membership in the marketplace plan to 97,665. This increase is thanks, in part, to our strong broker partnerships.
