Misty de Lamare, the Director of Communications at L.A. Care Health Plan, has been invited to join a panel titled Rethinking Hybrid Work: Taking a People-First Approach to Engaging With Employees.
COVID-19 forced many companies to shift to a remote workforce. Now that most pandemic precautions are ending, companies are shifting again to a hybrid model. de Lamare and Chelsey Louzeiro, the Digital Community Manager at Heifer International, will discuss how the pandemic changed the way they engaged their employees, and they will offer tips for implementing strategies that enable the flexibilities that today’s employees expect.
de Lamare will discuss how she addressed individual issues on an individual basis, understanding that everyone handled the pandemic differently. During the health crisis, she felt it was important to provide opportunities for employees to express feelings and share experiences, and also to remind them that they could find support through the employee assistance program, which provides counseling visits with a license clinician.
