Cash Payments With PayNearMe

L.A. Care becomes first ACA health plan to offer Cash Payment Option.L.A. Care Health Plan is partnering with PayNearMe
so that its L.A. Care Covered plan members can take advantage of subsidies on the Covered California health insurance exchange and pay with cash at 683 convenient locations throughout Los Angeles County.


Transforming Clinical Practices Initiative

L.A. Care Health Plan is one of 39 health care collaborative networks selected to participate in the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative, announced today by Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia M. Burwell. L.A. Care will receive up to $15.8 million over four years to provide technical assistance support to help equip clinicians in Los Angeles County with tools, information, and network support needed to improve quality of care, increase patients’ access to information, and spend health care dollars more wisely.


Pacoima: L.A. Care's Newest FRC

L.A. Care announced the grand opening of its newest Family Resource Center in Pacoima. The new facility – open to L.A. Care members and the public – will offer free and culturally focused health education resources and programs designed to promote overall wellness and healthy living.
