Do you know what Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) is? It is one of the most common neurobehavioral disorders of childhood, in which patients have trouble paying attention, controlling impulsive behaviors, and in some cases, are overly active.
Children with AD/HD do not just grow out of these behaviors; on the contrary, the symptoms continue until adulthood and can cause difficulty at school, at home and with the people around them.
Dr. Hector Castillo was interviewed on Telemundo’s local newscast Al Medio Dia about the importance of an early diagnosis in order to adequately treat the child and ensure that he/she reaches full capacity.
