Every Friday night between July 7 and August 18, the Los Angeles Zoo will transform into a playground for families to enjoy music, play games, and experience the zoo in a whole new way. L.A. Care is proud to sponsor Zoo Friday Nights 2023 in partnership with the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA), the nonprofit that was established in 1963 to support the L.A. Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
L.A. Care will have a booth each Friday night, where attendees can participate in interactive games and giveaways. Representatives will also be on hand to provide important health coverage information about Medi-Cal renewals, since Medi-Cal beneficiaries are once again going through the eligibility review process that was put on hold during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
Each Zoo Friday Night event draws 20,000 to 50,000 visitors who will enjoy twilight animal viewing opportunities and educational talks. It’s the perfect family-friendly summer night outing.
