L.A. Care to Partner with the Los Angeles Zoo for a Family-Friendly Halloween Season

L.A. Care Health Plan is proud to announce that it will be partnering with the Los Angeles Zoo and the nonprofit Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association during the month of October and will be on site for the annual Halloween celebration Boo at the L.A. Zoo. Boo at the L.A. Zoo is the last two weekends of the month – October 21 & 22 and October 28 & 29. Families will have the opportunity to enjoy the Halloween season in a safe and educational environment.

The two-weekend celebration will include a wide variety of activities for Halloween lovers of all ages. There will be trick-or-treating stations offering wildlife-friendly candy, animal pumpkin feedings, themed photo ops, spooky story readings, and an extinct animal graveyard.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own treat bags and to wear costumes, without full face masks or weapons.

L.A. Care will also have its own trick-or-treating stations around the zoo, where visitors will also be able to get information about the health plan, including important information about Medi-Cal renewals, which are taking place now. You can find more information about visiting the zoo here.
