Special message for L.A. Care Healthy Families Members

Healthy Families Program Transition to Medi-Cal

Due to State budget cuts many children in the Healthy Families Program (HFP) will be moved into the Medi-Cal program.  This will happen in the next few months.  HFP members will get the same health care and benefits through the Medi-Cal program.

HFP members will move into Medi-Cal in four phases.  L.A. Care members will move in Phase 1B.  L.A. Care Healthy Families members will move to Medi-Cal on March 1, 2013.  L.A. Care Plan Partner HFP members will move on April 1, 2013.
